This is a compilation of various findings about whether or not wireless microwave radiation is bad.
Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMF’s) are waves which are generated from energy. They occur naturally, such as from the sun in the form of light and radiation, and can be man made such as AM and FM radio, microwave ovens, cell phones, wireless routers, and more.
Some forms of EMFs are commonly known to be bad, such as ultraviolet light and radiation, but it is often assumed that lesser frequency EMFs are good. Microwave ovens are assumed to be safe, although if you test one with an EMF meter you will see that there is definitely leakage. We assume they are safe, but if you run a microwave oven and are in the same room, you are likely allowing your body to be damaged.
Many of us assume that cell phones are safe, and put them right next to our heads when we’re talking or carry them in our pockets while we stream music or a podcast. But if you use an EMF meter around a cell phone you can see just how much of a reading you get.
Look at the following graphics and you can see possible symptoms of Microwave radiation as well as the spectrum of Electromagnetic Frequencies. Is it not worth considering that maybe these non-radioactive waves are dangerous? Is it not possible that there is a problem, and maybe the telecom industry is worried about potential lawsuits and more concerned about profits?
The link below takes you to a website put together by the Microwaved Injured Veterans Network (MIVN), which discusses was that microwave frequencies can harm people.
History of the Microwave Oven
The history of microwave ovens is somewhat revealing. It turns out that the microwave oven was discovered when a chocolate bar in a pocket melted. It was either a soldier standing very close to a radar antenna, or in another version, Percy Spencer who was working on RADAR (RAdio ) in his lab. Most likely soldiers in the field noticed this phenomenon and it was later investigated and “discovered” by scientists with the credit going to Spencer.
Either way we can take two thing away from this; one being that microwave are powerful enough to heat material up, and two, that microwaves are radio waves.
This video gives a brief history of the microwave oven:
It is also interesting to note that microwave ovens use about the same frequency as pre-5G cell phones and wireless routers, 2.4 GHz. Most wireless routers today can do 2.4 and 5.0 GHz.
This is not to say your cell phone has the same frying power due to the differences in voltage and the physical design of the microwave, but it is interesting that they use roughly the same frequency.
The following link talks about the similarities of the frequencies of microwave ovens and cell phones:
It hypes up the fact that it is an unlicensed spectrum, but you would think the efficiency of heating would be one of the prime concerns wouldn’t you?
Interestingly, it also talks about how microwave ovens leak. Did you know that they leak?
Why have most people never heard of these topics? Why isn’t there more open discussion on the topic of whether or not there are possible dangers from wireless signals from routers, phones, and cell phone antennas? Could it be because of the potential lawsuits people might bring against these Washington DC entrenched corporations, and the potential for lost money.
I personally think so!
